Primula capitata ssp. Mooreana
A lovely species with an inflorescence rather like a flattened denticulata. The scented flowers are a deep violet-blue on 6-8 inch stems. The whole plant is covered by a white meal which gives it a silvery delicate look. Flowering starts in May and is at it’s most profuse in June, but will often flower again in September. Prefers full sun or partial shade with free draining, not wet, soil. Hardy perennial. Available in 9cm pot.
