Primula sieboldii Harunoyoi

A lovely double form with pale pink flowers from late March – May. Sieboldii are edge of woodland plants and have been bred extensively in Japan for hundreds of years. They need some shade and do not like the midday sun. Soil that does not dry out and is rich in organic matter is preferable. They die back in early Autumn and go dormant. Sieboldii form rhizomes, crowns, just beneath the surface, easy to divide. Delicate looking light green leaves appear in February. Despite the appearance these are tough very hardy plants. Available in 9cm pots.
